Warriorshield™ Waterproofing Liquid is a highly durable water-based and water-resistant acrylic compound is used in conjunction with a waterproofing re-inforcing membrane. The waterproofing system is UV resistant, mould and fungus resistant.

USES :

Warriorshield™ Waterproofing Liquid is used for waterproofing new concrete roofs, parapets and flashings, fibre-cement roofs, roofs treated with malthoid, repairs to sheet and metal roofing and also repairs to other leaking roofs etc.

SPECIFICATION OR RECOMMENDED PAINT SYSTEM :

1. SURFACE PREPARATION:

The area to be waterproofed must be dry, free of any dirt, dust, loose particles, and other contaminants. Surface preparation and application can vary depending on the nature, size and shape of the substrate/job. For large jobs or when in doubt consult our Technical Service Advisor.

2. RECOMMENDED APPLICATION PROCESS:

a) Apply liberally to substrate by brush or roller one coat of Warriorshield™ Saturator and allow to dry. (0.25 to 0.5 litre per m²)

b) Apply by brush or roller one liberal coat of Warriorshield™ Waterproofing liquid as supplied and fix fabric or waterproofing membrane using a roller while the paint is still wet. Allow to dry. (1.0 to 1.5 litre per m²)

c) Apply a third coat of Warriorshield™ Saturator to ensure that the fabric is completely saturated.(0.25 to 0.5 litre per m²)

d) Finish with two coats of Warriorshield™ Waterproofing liquid to desired colour. (0.5 litre per m² per coat). A spreading rate of 2.5 to 3.0 l Warriorshield™ Waterproofing Liquid per square meter of reinforcing fabric is recommended. Each coat must be thoroughly dry before over coating.

SPREADING RATE: Spreading rate will vary depending on conditions and substrate. Generally it has been found to vary from 2.5 to 3.0litre per m² for the complete system.

DRYING TIMES:

• SURFACE DRY : 1 Hour
• HARD DRY : 4 Hours
• OVERCOATING : 4Hours @ 25ºC

COLOUR RANGE: Grey, White, Black, Red Oxide

PACK SIZES: 1L, 5L, 20L

LIFE EXPECTANCY: 8-10 years (After 5 years an inspection of the system is recommended. A maintenance coat should be applied if necessary.)

GENERAL INFORMATION :

• This product is not recommended for use on the inside of dams and swimming pools or in ponding situations.
• It is impor­tant that this product be thoroughly mixed with a flat paddle before use.
