DESCRIPTION: Warrior Ecocare Coating is an Environmentally Friendlier, low VOC, low odour interior paint which is available in either a matt or low sheen luxurious finish. It is a washable and durable coating with enhanced stain resistance which if used correctly will give a long lasting finish. Warrior Ecocare Coating has a VOC content of less than 16g/L when used as white or pastel colour. USES: Warrior Ecocare Coating is an excellent paint to be used in interior high traffic areas where cleanliness and stain resistance is of importance. It is, due to its Environmentally Friendlier and Low Odour nature, suitable for use where the consumer need is to utilise the premises the same day it was painted without suffering any harmful side effects. It is especially suitable for use in bedrooms for infants, elderly or ill people. It is the perfect coating for Hospital Wards, Hotel rooms and Offices where time is of the essence to occupy the freshly painted premises without virtually no odour or harmful side effects to the occupant.

SPECIFICATION OR RECOMMENDED PAINT SYSTEM :

a) New Masonry Surfaces: All surfaces must be dry, free of dust, dirt, grease and other surface contamination. Apply one coat of Warrior Water Based Alkali Resistant Plaster Primer and allow to dry for 4 hours. Finish with at least 2 coats of Warrior Ecocare Coating to colour of choice.

b) Previously Painted Masonry Surfaces: Remove by scraping, wire brushing or sanding all soft powdered, blistered, loose or flaking paint. All surfaces should be washed and allowed to dry. All bare patches must be primed with Warrior Water Based Alkali Resistant Plaster Primer and in the case of boards or panels, all metal areas/nail heads, etc. should be spot primed with Warrior Metal Etch Primer.

Gloss or semi-gloss surfaces must always be sanded down with a fine abrasive to provide a good key for subsequent coats and then primed with Warrior Universal Undercoat and allow to dry for 16 hours.

Finish off with at least 2 coats of Warrior Ecocare Coating to colour of choice.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. For new work or a change in colour, two finishing coats are normally recommended.
2. One coat may be applied for general maintenance painting.
3. It is important that this product be thoroughly mixed with a flat paddle before use.
4. As per standard painting practices, no painting should take place if surface or ambient temperatures are below 10⁰C or above 30⁰C. Painting should cease at 3pm or when rain is imminent
