Warrior Woodtreat Polyurethane Interior Varnish

DESCRIPTION:

Warrior Woodtreat Polyurethane Interior Varnish is an extremely tough, hard wearing and mar resistant, quick drying wood varnish and is available in either a suede or gloss finish.

USES:

Warrior Woodtreat Polyurethane Interior Varnish is specifically formulated for interior wood surfaces like table tops, counters, skirting boards, ceilings, cupboards, banisters, side boards etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND RECOMMENDED PAINT SYSTEM:

New Wood Surfaces: All surfaces must be sanded, smooth, clean and dry.

Previously Treated Wood Surfaces: All painted or varnished surfaces must be stripped chemically or mechanically back to the bare wood. Sand the bare wood to a smooth finish and ensure surface is clean, firm and dry before applying Warrior Woodtreat Polyurethane Interior Varnish.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION:

Always stir contents well before use. In addition stir occasionally during application.

It is recommended that the 1st coat be thinned 10-15% by volume with Warrior Mineral Turps. The 2nd and 3rd coats must not be thinned. Allow at least 6 hours drying time between coats. It is important to sand lightly between coats for a good finish.

GENERAL:

  1.  Not recommended for exterior use due to its limited UV resistance.
  2.  It is recommended that 2-3 finishing coats be applied for a more durable finish.
  3.  It is impor­tant that this product be thoroughly mixed with a flat paddle before use.
  4.  As per standard painting practices, no painting should take place if surface or ambient temperatures are below 10⁰C or above 30⁰C. Painting should cease at 3pm or when rain is imminent.
